There Once Were Stars, Melanie McFarlane Review

There Once Were Stars was one of the best books I've read in a while. At first, I thought it would be way too serious, and that I wouldn't like it, but actually I was wrong.
The world building and description in this story was amazing. I could picture everything so perfectly. It really was like a movie playing out in my head.
The main character, Nat, is very curious, and while she doesn't seem very confident, she is sure of a lot of things. I admire her need to know all the answers, no matter what it takes. She's so smart, although slightly naive in the beginning. Overall, I found her personality something to look up to.
The plot twists in this were so expertly done, I had to pause for moments in between. Once I started reading, I couldn't stop, and that's what made me give this 5/5 stars.
